The LungTrainer Classic is the original lung training device. This unique breathing device incorporates the IBA (S or B series) to monitor the amount of air flow used and weighted inserts to control the amount of pressure applied. One full insert is calibrated to .5 psi, the same as the balloon used with our individual breathing assistant models. Each Classic comes with 3 full inserts, allowing for a pressure generation of up to 1.5 psi. This increased pressure is ideal for instruments that require more back pressure, such as the trumpet, oboe, and French horn. The Black Box I is an advanced breathing trainer device featuring an air sensor that initiates the sensors. This model allows users to monitor the air pressure used for each exercise and track the cumulative time duration of complete breath exhalations. The Black Box II is an innovative breathing trainer that includes the air sensor, pressure guide, and exhalation display from the Black Box I. Additionally, the Black Box II provides a resting timer, Advisor 2, which automatically returns to "0" after each repetition, allowing users to determine the amount of time that has transpired between exercise repetitions.
