The Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) Conference brings together musicians, students, and educators from across the state for several days of learning, collaboration, and performance. From January 29–31, Lung Trainers will be attending GMEA 2026 to connect with the music community and share tools designed to support stronger, more efficient breathing.

If you’re attending the conference, we’d love to connect and introduce you to the IBA and our approach to breath-focused training.

You’re welcome to visit us anytime during the conference at the Booth #144

So what does Lung Trainers focus on at events like GMEA?
It starts with breathing. Why Breath Training Matters for Performers
Breathing is a fundamental part of musical performance. It affects tone, endurance, consistency, and overall control — regardless of instrument or experience level. Developing better breathing habits can help performers:
- Maintain control during long rehearsals
- Achieve more consistent tone and projection
- Perform with greater confidence
The IBA (Individual Breathing Assistant) was designed to support these goals through intentional, resistance-based breathing training.
📍 Connecting With Lung Trainers at GMEA 2026
As GMEA 2026 brings together musicians and educators from across Georgia, we’re proud to be part of the conversation around breath, performance, and long-term development. Events like this create space to explore ideas, share tools, and strengthen the foundations that support musical growth.
If you’re attending GMEA, we look forward to connecting and sharing how breath-focused training fits into real-world practice and performance.
